FUTURE FLIGHT CREW FAQ
do i have to quit my job?
No. In fact, all of our FFC members are working full time. This program does not serve as a replacement for experience gained at work. However, this is an intense program that spans over 36 weeks. You must be ready to work hard to complete the program.
how much does this cost?
There is no membership fee or cost for the application. We will ask for you to assist with setup and breakdown at the conferences. You will be responsible for your own travel and lodging expenses for the two conferences we have planned. You will also be asked to purchase uniform shirts to help identify you at the large conferences. Trust us, it’s in your best interest to look professional.
Am i guaranteed to finish the program?
No. We have developed a score card that will help to track your progress through the program. We reward motivated members who are willing to go above and beyond to help themselves and help their team members. If you are not completing assignments or not attending required events, you will be removed from the program.
am i guaranteed to get a job in flight?
No. With each of our previous classes, we have celebrated Future Flight Crew members who have earned their wings. However, we are simply providing these individuals with the necessary guidance and tools for them to realize their true potential and kick ass!!! With each class, we see a higher percentage of success with members actually getting their first flight job. As we’ve stated before, what benefits you receive from this program will depend 100% on the level of work and dedication that you are willing to put in to it.
am i required to attend both events (Spring 2020 ECHO conference and ffc fall weekend workshop)?
Yes, you will be required to attend both events. Believe us, you will not want to miss all of the things that we have in store for you. We are working with some of the top tier air medical programs in the country to offer incredible educational opportunities for the Future Flight Crew. Failure to attend both events will result in termination from the program.
