About Rotors 4 Kids:

When ECHO became a 501c3 Non Profit Public Charity we truly took the word “charity” to heart. It is our honor to now take ECHO on to our next adventure of aircrews giving back to the public! We would like to announce the ECHO Rotors 4 Kids project (R4K)!

R4K is an initiative developed with the sole intention of giving back to families and children going through a struggle; whatever that struggle may be.

As our first R4K project we will be hosting flight crews from across the country at the Annual ECHO Conference. This event will take place at Erlanger Children’s Hospital on September 7. We will be visiting with the pediatric patients hospitalized at Erlanger Children’s Hospital.

Our goal is to bring them program swag, gifts, & t shirts from flight programs across the world. This will give them a chance to meet some of our real life heroes (in your agency's flight suits), and provide these fighting kids a chance to hang out and enjoy meeting us when it’s NOT the worst of circumstances. We want to bring a smile to the faces of these kids that are struggling, and be a bright spot in their dark time!

In summary, how cool would it be for a sick kid in Chattanooga to meet a flight nurse from California and get a T shirt, hang out with a Comms Spec from Minnesota and get a T shirt, meet a police pilot from Florida and then get a t shirt- and have lunch with them all!

Next Event

The countdown is now on! Less than a month until ECHO members put their speed to test on the ground as they fly around the floors of the Children's Hospital at Erlanger bringing cheer and gear to the pediatric patients and their families! Our very first Rotors 4 Kids (R4K) event will be held on Friday, September 7th. Erlanger LifeForce’s EC135 will be present at the hospital so the patients will also have the experience of seeing the inside of a real helicopter!

How can your program help?

ECHO is always looking for programs and individuals who are interested in supporting our event! If you are able to donate anything-be it money, swag, or man hours- please let us know!
